These cups are for the Newer 98 and up Rangers with control arms. They simply just sit in place of the original coil springs and are held in place by the airbag. There is a 1/2" threaded nut welded on the inside of the upper cup so you can bolt it in place with a piece of 1/2" all thread if you want. The threaded rod would go through the upper shock hole and bolt in. The bag plates are CNC laser cut to accept bags with a bolt pattern of 2500# or 2600#.
